Panjoma’s Personacide is now available on Amazon, iTunes, and more.
Music to murder your identity to, Personacide reflects a different breed of beats merging hip hop, IDM, and synth rock. Personacide was created by Patrik Nilsson, Ritch Napierkowski, Mary Panjoma, and Christian Alvarez during the sweltering summer heat of Austin, Texas in 2008. Personacide was created over the course of five days, during the birthday week that Mary Panjoma and Patrik Nilsson share in June. Over the course of the celebrations, Panjoma created over sixteen hours of raw audio recordings, which Mary would ultimately edit into Personacide.
Personacide was created between and by the altered states of the band members at the time of recording, and was the result of many late night and early morning philosophical discussions, hours-long jams, and other various creative surges and manifestations. It was created primarily with a Microkorg, Kstation, KP, live bass, Korg SX, and Roland MV.
